We sat down with local business owner Kyrston Jones to discuss her business, K. Chante’ Aromas.

What is K. Chante’ Aromas?

K. Chante’ Aromas is a home fragrance business specializing in soy wax candles, wax melts, home scents (room & cat sprays), reed diffusers and car diffusers. We are a small woman owned business in Baltimore, MD. Our purpose is to create high quality and long lasting handcrafted home fragrance products for our customers all while creating a cozy, relaxing environment for your space. 

What inspired you to start this building?

I have always had a love for candles and all things that make your home and space smell good and welcoming. One day I tried to make a candle for myself and enjoyed it and the science behind it. From there, I started making more and created a business for all to enjoy these warm, comforting scents. 

What are the specific items you offer?

We offer soy wax candles, affirmation candles, wax melts, home scents (room & car sprays), reed diffusers, and car diffusers 

What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs?

Take your time to learn the business first. Set goals and have a business plan. Do tons of research in your respective field. Also, to get a mentor if possible to help guide you along the way. Lastly, believe in yourself and your business. 

What is your message to the community?

My message to the community- thank you for the opportunity to share my baby (K. Chante’ Aromas) with you. Without you, there would be no small businesses. You are the glue that holds us together. It’s so important to shop with small businesses and to shop locally. Thank you for the continued support.
