Vice Mayor Nickerson, Councilwoman Miles to bring Expungement Clinic to Dumfries

Vice Mayor Nickerson and Councilwoman Miles will host an Expungement Clinic in the Town of Dumfries on January 22, 2022.

Nickerson and Miles will collaborate with the Town of Dumfries Police Department, Prince William County Clerk of the Court, the Commonwealth Attorney, and the PWC Sheriff to create a “one stop shop” for those who need their records expunged.

As members of the Town Council, Miles and Nickerson have been committed to rooting out systemic problems that have prevented disadvantaged people from advancement. Far too many individuals have been eliminated from vital opportunities like employment and available housing due to things that should not remain on their permanent records. The clinic is another example of Miles and Nickerson’s commitment to eliminating obstacles to success and prosperity.

The clinic will be composed of two events, the first being an Informative Webinar on January 15, 2022, and ending with the Expungement Clinic on January 22. Those interested in participating should follow Vice Mayor Nickerson and Councilwoman Miles on the following social media platforms:
