Town of Dumfries Announces National Night Out 2020 Schedule

The pandemic of 2020 has created a bevy of postponements and cancellations, including the annual National Night Out. Usually held in the beginning of August, National Night Out is designed to bring together the community as well as its local police force in numerous locales across the nation. However, things are beginning to change as it was announced over the summer that National Night Out has been moved to Tuesday October 6. Today the Town of Dumfries released their schedule for the upcoming event via press release.

Port of Dumfries Area – 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Tebbs Lane Area – 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm

South Cove – 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Williamstown – 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Prince William Estates – 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Grayson Village – 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Dumfries Officers will provide PPEs such as face masks and hand sanitizer. The Police Department will provide educational materials for children. To find out more information, visit https://natw.org.
