The Phoenix Phoundation works to eliminate generational cycles of domestic violence

by John Reid

According to their website, the Phoenix Phoundation, created by Makya Little, “creates community partnerships to provide preventative training resources and wrap-around services for youth and survivors of domestic violence. Training includes financial literacy and credit counseling, spiritual counseling, trauma therapy, physical therapy, and career and life coaching.”

In partnership with organizations such as The Oasis Alliance, Mareta Creations, and the Prince William Professional Fire Fighters Local 2598, the non-profit organization seeks to end generational impacts of domestic violence.
