Supervisor Margaret Angela Franklin Expresses Condolences on the Passing of Congressman Gerald Connolly

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Supervisor Margaret Angela Franklin of the Woodbridge Magisterial District expresses her deep sorrow at the passing of Congressman Gerald Connolly.

“Congressman Connolly was a strong and supportive partner in getting things done for our community,” said Supervisor Franklin. “He was a courageous fighter achieving the goals that mattered most to the people of Woodbridge and Northern Virginia. His unwavering commitment to public service and his ability to bring people together for meaningful progress will be sorely missed.”  

Throughout his tenure, Congressman Connolly championed initiatives that improved infrastructure, expanded economic opportunities, and strengthened public services. His leadership and vision will leave a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit northern Virginia for years to come.  

Supervisor Franklin extends her heartfelt condolences to Congressman Connolly’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. His contributions to Woodbridge and the greater community will never be forgotten.
