Small Business of the Day: Virginia Black Business Directory

Each day in February the PW Perspective will feature a Black-owned small business. We’ll feature a quick snapshot of what the business is and how you can reach them.

What is it? The Virginia Black Business Directory is the place for minority-owned businesses of all industries to be featured.

According to their website (www.vablackbusinessdirectory.com), its mission is “To bridge the gap in wealth by connecting black-owned businesses to consumers through community collaboration, educational opportunities, and the development of networking initiatives and programs.” The directory has been a participant at several local events, including the FXBG Black Restaurant Week and hosting its very first expo last October.

Cost: $25/year for 1 business listing, $50 for 2 listings, $65 for three listings. $25/year for minority-owned Restaurant owners, with a one year free trial.
