Santa Saves Christmas!

Who doesn’t love a little holiday cheer?

That’s exactly what some community-minded individuals decided to do yesterday when two individuals dressed in costumes and gave the local citizens some joy throughout Potomac Mills and Stonebridge Town Center. It all started when a person dressed as the Grinch from the Dr. Seuss story was seen walking around the mall. Soon after, another individual dressed as Santa Claus chased the Grinch away. Later on, they went over to the ice-skating rink across from the Alamo Drafthouse Theater and did the same thing, giving candy to some of the nearby children.

Back at the mall they posed for photos and security was so encouraged by the festivities that they asked Santa and the Grinch to come back next year and do it again.

While we have yet to identify who played the Grinch, we can confirm that the role of Santa was played by none other than Padreus Prater, who serves on the Human Rights Commission and is a local activist throughout the Woodbridge area.
