Rod Hall to host COVID-19 Town Hall on Sunday

This Sunday HD-31 candidate Rod Hall will host a virtual town hall to address COVID-19. Joining him will be Prince William County Supervisor Andrea Bailey, Dr. John Patton, and Dr. Derek Robinson. They will discuss the state of COVID in the district and hear from frontline doctors about their experiences working during the pandemic. This will be a moderated panel with Q&A at the end.

Dr. John A. Patton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in neuropsychological assessment and behavioral functioning, and holds multiple degrees from the field, including a BS in Psychology, an MA in School Psychology, an Ed.S. in School Psychology, an MA in Clinical Psychology, and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Derek Robinson is a physician executive who is board certified in emergency medicine. He is supporting public education efforts at the local and national levels on COVID-19.

Hall provided a statement to the PW Perspective on the importance of the discussion. “COVID-19 has impacted every segment of our lives and you cannot talk about any one issue without considering COVID-19 and its effects. That is why addressing the impacts of COVID-19 and laying the groundwork for our Commonwealth’s recovery from it are central tenets of my campaign.”

“I am honored to be joined by these public health leaders to host this important discussion about how we can come together to tackle this crisis and emerge from it stronger as a community.”

Hall has been recently endorsed by Senator Jeremy McPike and Delegate Luke Torian (D-52nd District).
