Qasim Rashid tours VA-01 District this Sunday

Qasim Rashid, Democratic Candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st District will be traveling around the First Congressional District this Sunday. He will be speaking to constituents at parks in the following cities: Bristow, King George and Fredericksburg. The human rights lawyer, who won a close race in June over Vangie Williams for the Democratic primary, will be delivering remarks followed by a socially distanced town hall with VA-01 voters as he prepares to take on Rob Wittman in November’s general election.

The schedule is as follows:

1 – 3 pm: Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre, 12229 Bristow Rd, Bristow, VA 20136

4 – 6 pm: Barnesfield Park, 3360 Barnsfield Rd, King George, VA 22485

7 – 8:30pm: John Lee Pratt Park, 120 River Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405

These events are free of charge and open to the public. For those attending, please note that masks are required for the outdoor events and CDC social distancing guidelines will be enforced. The campaign will provide masks, hand sanitizer and encourage hand washing prior to attendance.
