PW Pulse: The Problem with Facial Recognition Bias
In this week’s episode we discuss the issues with facial recognition bias and it’s racial implications. There are new laws in effect that could potentially curb its use and by doing so, reduce the unfair criminalization of Black and Brown people.
Also, during the show we discussed solutions to dealing with curbing racial bias in facial recognition software, including bringing in more engineers of color who can help with its design.
