Last August 18-year-old Jaylen Custis declared his candidacy for the Woodbridge District School Board. After signing his official paperwork, he is now on the ballot. He met with the PW Perspective to discuss his plans for addressing school safety, why he believes he is the best candidate for the position, and what is the best advice he’s received since running.
