In an effort to combat food insecurity within the community, both organizations have teamed up with The Food Ministry at Trinity Church and Haymarket Regional Food Pantry. This collaborative effort aims to collect food donations and cash contributions during each performance of “Oliver.”

The Food Ministry at Trinity Episcopal Church in Manassas has a long-standing commitment to addressing food insecurity. Their dedicated Food Ministry collects and distributes food to individuals and families who are experiencing hunger and financial difficulties. By participating in the food donation drive, patrons can make a significant impact on the lives of those in need.

The Haymarket Regional Food Pantry, another valued partner, shares a common goal of alleviating hunger and poverty within the local community. They diligently collect and distribute food to individuals and families struggling to afford nutritious meals. Through this collaboration, theatregoers have the opportunity to contribute to their mission and support their ongoing efforts to combat food insecurity.

“We are thrilled to be working alongside the Food Ministry at Trinity Episcopal Church and Haymarket Regional Food Pantry for this important cause,” said Chrissy Mastrangelo, President of Prince William Little Theatre. “We believe that by harnessing the power of the arts and the generosity of our patrons, we can make a significant impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity.”

During each performance of “Oliver,” members of the partnering organizations will collect canned goods and cash donations. Patrons are encouraged to bring canned goods to contribute to the fight against food insecurity. Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a difference in the lives of those in need.
