Throughout the internship, students will be presented professional development opportunities, such as skills and leadership training, mentoring, networking with executive leadership, field excursions, short-term projects and hands-on experience that will equip them with the necessary skills, tools and resources for long-term success.

Applications are now open for the eight-week program, which will run from May 20 to July 11, 2024. Prospective interns can apply for the program by accessing the application on the county’s website. The deadline for applications is March 16, 2024.
