Prince William County Cooling Centers on July 6 and July 7

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – Prince William County offers resources to assist members of the public in staying cool when temperatures reach 95 degrees or higher and heat indices reach near 100 degrees. Today and tomorrow, July 6th and 7th, due to the forecasted high temperature of 97 degrees with heat index values anticipated to be as high as 105 degrees, any member of the public who needs to seek shelter from the heat can visit a Prince William County library. Main libraries have hours of operation today and tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. – 8 p.m., while smaller neighborhood libraries have hours of operation from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. For locations and hours, please visit https://www.pwcva.gov/department/library/branch-locations-hours.
