Prince William County Community Foundation selected as finalist for State Farm Neighborhood Assist Award

Throughout the pandemic there have been several non-profit organizations who have gone above and beyond to ensure that families are still able to have the necessary resources. The Prince William County Community Foundation has been one of the most prolific organizations to do, and their efforts have been recognized on a national basis. Recently they have become nominated as a finalist for the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Award, given to a charitable organization for their continued good deeds. Via the use of their C.H.O.W (Combat Hunger on Wheels) Wagon, the PWCCF has been able to visit schools and local communities to distribute food supplies the past several months. Their initiative, according to their website, is to end hunger in the Prince William County community.

The recipient of the award will receive $25,000 and allow them to expand their C.H.O.W Wagon services to multiple locales. The winner is selected by community voting and votes may be given up to 10x a day until October 2nd. Please visit the website below to vote.
