Prince William County Community Foundation announces summer events

by John Reid

The Prince William County Community Foundation is gearing up for an incredible summer of giving back to the local community! Already it has been a great year for the 2023 Prince William County Human Rights Awards Winner and for its founder, Dr. Vanessa Gattis, recipient of the 2023 Prince William Living Influential Women Award Winner. Now, they will host two events for everyone to enjoy.

The first is a Game Night on May 17 at 3800 Graham Park Road in Dumfries. It will feature board games, card games, and other activities. You must be 18+ to enter, and the cost is $25 per person.

On August 3, they will host their 3rd Annual Community Day, which has become a staple of helping families prepare for the upcoming school year. In preparation for the large amount of supplies they plan to distribute, please provide all school supplies by July 12. More details below on how you can contribute:

Please visit their website for more information.
