Prince William County, VA – Six lucky Prince William County high school seniors will soon meet with Prince William County Community Foundation (PWCCF) staff members and receive a
scholarship to recognize their scholastic accomplishments and continued pursuit of education beyond high school.

The PWCCF scholarship program receives scholarship applications from graduating seniors who share more about their high school experience and intentions to positively impact the world through
continued education at a 2 to 4-year degree college or university. This year, scholarship winners were selected by a panel of judges based on academic accomplishment, service to Prince William
County, extra-curricular involvement, financial need, and essay response. The recipients of the 2022 Prince William County Community Foundation Scholarship are:

Nathan Morlu – Woodbridge High School
Connie Lam – Forest Park High School
Emileigh Mills – Unity Reed High School
Ashley McKnight – Colgan High School
Diamond Ball – Battlefield High School
Tristan Huynh – Woodbridge High School

PWCCF knows the positive impact higher education has on an individual’s ability to achieve self-sufficiency for themselves and for generations to follow. Since our beginnings, PWCCF has supported
promising high school graduates from Prince William County through scholarships to help them succeed throughout and beyond their college years. PWCCF looks forward to celebrating this year’s
scholarship recipients through scholarship distribution events in the upcoming weeks. The total amount of scholarships distributed by the Foundation this year is $10,000.

With a variety of initiatives focused on the social, environmental, and economic health of Prince William County residents, PWCCF endeavors to improve the quality of life in our community and
champion solutions that advance the common good. PWCCF’s services portfolio includes healthcare, education, well-being, and food insecurity initiatives.
