Sen. Mark Warner Endorses Briana Sewell for Delegate in the 51st District

WOODBRIDGE, VA – Today, United States Senator Mark Warner endorsed Briana Sewell for Delegate in the 51st District of the Virginia House of Delegates.

“Briana Sewell is a proven leader with the vision and values that will advance the Commonwealth. She has a strong record of advocating for her community at the local, state, and federal government levels. I’m proud to endorse Briana’s candidacy for Virginia’s 51st House District because I know she will bring that same level of dedication and commitment to Richmond,” said Senator Warner.

“As we rebuild from the COVID-19 pandemic, we need leaders like Briana, who will put her constituents’ needs above all else. She recognizes the importance of bringing good-paying jobs to the district and fighting for more equitable economic policies. With Briana’s vast experience in government and nonprofit spaces, I am confident that she is the right candidate to meet this moment.”

“I am honored to receive Senator Warner’s endorsement,” said Sewell. “Senator Warner has been a strong advocate for all Virginians throughout his years of public service as Governor and now United States Senator. As the Senior Senator from Virginia, he has exemplified the value of building consensus to create impactful legislation for the betterment of the Commonwealth.”
