Phi Beta Sigma to host Candidate Town Hall in Dumfries

As early voting approaches next month, several candidates for both the Prince William County School Board and Board of County Supervisors will have opportunities to speak with potential constituents on key issues in the area. On Saturday, June 3 at Little Union Baptist Church in Dumfries, the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Omicron Zeta Sigma Alumni Chapter will host a Candidate Town Hall. The topic of discussion will be “Let Us Be Clear about Education, Business, and Social Action.”

The town hall is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 10:45 am, and the town hall is from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Candidates who would like to participate must sign up by June 1st.

Phi Beta Sigma has been instrumental in registering voters and providing a space for candidates on both parties to share their respective visions of their campaigns. More to come on this event as we approach the date.
