OmniRide Service Change Takes Effect Jan. 30

OmniRide’s Service Change to schedules for Express, Metro Express and local routes will take effect on Monday, Jan. 30 and will be available from bus operators and online beginning Jan. 15. The OmniRide Connect microtransit pilot program, now operating in Manassas Park, replaces the OmniRide Local Manassas Park route. See below for discontinued and added routes, as well as routes now operating from the new Balls Ford Road Commuter Lot in Manassas.

OmniRide Express

  • Manassas-Washington/State Dept. (601) route will be discontinued. Riders can use Gainesville-Washington (611) to get into D.C.
  • Manassas-Pentagon (602) route will start and end at Balls Ford Lot.
  • Gainesville/Manassas-Washington/State Department (611) will include new routing to and from Balls Ford Lot, and new routing to Express lanes.
  • Western Express Connector (62) – new route.
    • Provides timed connections to Route 60 at Balls Ford Lot.
    • Limestone to Balls Ford to University in the morning.
    • Balls Ford to University to Linton Hall in the evening.

OmniRide Local

  • Manassas Park (68) — route discontinued and replaced with OmniRide Connect microtransit service.
  • Manassas North-Balls Ford Lot (65B) — NEW routing.
    • Operates between the Western Hub and the Balls Ford Lot.
    • Direct access to Manassas Mall.
    • Timed transfers at Western Hub to Route 96.
