OMEGA STEM Workshop for Middle School and High School Students

OKK Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation, invites Middle School and High School Students (girls & boys) to STEM workshop on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 8am-4pm at Saturday, October 12, 2024 at George M. Hampton Middle School, 14800 Darbydale Ave, Woodbridge, VA 22193.

In celebration of International Day of Girl, students with an interest in STEM are invited to join us for a fun-filled day of hands-on activities (e.g. cybersecurity, drones, robotics, junior solar sprint)!  The event will also include information on STEM-related careers, extracurricular competition and volunteer opportunities, dual-enrollment programs, summer enrichment programs, internships, and scholarships.

The event will include an interactive Q&A from technology thought leaders, then flow into a series of activities scaled for students ranging from grades 6-12, and will include refreshments, giveaways, and prizes.

Register at https://shorturl.at/UllkO

(First 150 students to register will receive FREE swag bags)!

As some of our targeted students may not be able to afford the $50 registration fee, we are inviting individuals and/or organizations to sponsor students at $50 per student.  Mail cashier’s check or money order, payable to OKK Foundation, Inc., PO Box 2252. Reston, VA 20195.
