Building Trade Unions Announce Support for PW Digital Gateway

MANASSAS, VA – Union members in Prince William County will explain how the PW Digital Gateway is a chance for Prince William County to create thousands of family-sustaining union jobs and provide workforce development opportunities for local residents. Home to the region’s largest number of union members,  Prince William County has an opportunity to allow its residents to work locally instead of traveling to Washington, DC or Baltimore for family-sustaining jobs.  

WHAT: Building trades unions will be explaining support for the PW Digital Gateway and urging the County Board of Supervisors to approve the project.   

WHO: DC-Metro Building Trades Unions, a coalition of unions comprised of 17 construction trades unions. Speakers will include union members and signatory contractors.  

WHEN: Thursday, January 27th at 5:30pm
