NCBW-PWCC to host Financial Literacy Workshop

Workshop geared towards helping communities of color save and invest.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Prince William County Chapter, Inc. (NCBW-PWCC), announced its third financial literacy workshop will focus on savings and investing. 

The third workshop will cover purchasing life and consumer insurance, evaluating different retirement strategies, and investing (stocks, bonds, CDs, annuities, etc.), and will identify resources for attendees to go for help.

“Savings and investing are critical components of building wealth and closing the wealth gap for communities of color. NCBW-PWCC is proud to sponsor this workshop, free of charge, to interested participants,” said Sheila D. Coleman, President of NCBW-PWCC.
