NAACP and Novant to Discuss COVID-19 Vaccine in the African American Community

On Wednesday, February 17th at 6:00 pm Novant Health UVA Health System will have a virtual discussion with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and local faith-based communities to share the facts and latest information about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Titled “COVID-19 Vaccine Facts: A Black and African American Community Town Hall”, it will feature Novant Health UVA Health System subject matter experts to discuss how the vaccine has been distributed within the Black community. In addition, they will answer questions from participants about making the proper health care decisions. Joining them will be Reverend Cozy Bailey, President of the NAACP Prince William Area Branch.
