Loree Williams announces her re-election campaign for the Woodbridge Magisterial District School Board seat

Ready to build on her success over the past two terms, Woodbridge Magisterial District representative Loree Williams has announced to the PW Perspective her plans for re-election on Tuesday evening.

Williams, who won her first term in 2015, has been instrumental in helping the school board develop several initiatives, including the Capital Improvement Plan, as well as championing for diversity, equity and inclusion plans. A lifelong resident of the county, she has also served as Vice Chairperson in 2020 after winning re-election in 2019. Among her plans for future terms will be to continue working with the board to increase safety at public schools, and assisting the district to improve educational achievements. In speaking with the PW Perspective, Williams referred to her well-known campaign slogan, “I’m running for my family…and yours!”

She is an early childhood advocate and seeks to enhance skills for under-performing students. She joins Shantell Rock and Jaylen Custis, who have respectfully declared their own candidacies.

The PW Perspective will have more on this breaking story as it develops.
