How to help Mustafa Aljazairi

by John Reid

Over the past several months, there has more vocal support to free Mustafa Aljazairi of his imprisonment at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center. Aljazairi was arrested on April 7th on two counts of manslaughter and one count of malicious wounding in a Dumfries accident which claimed the lives of his girlfriend Dorothy Fontain and her daughter Empress.

In response, there have been several petitions created to help Mustafa get justice. All created on Change.org, the petitions are asking for release of the video footage from the incident, a recall of Commonwealth Attorney Amy Ashworth, and accountability from the police report, including transparency on what happened April 5th.
