Giving Tuesday is around the corner, Will you stand with Us?

The Prince William County Community Foundation sponsors the following post

Dear Friend!

Giving Tuesday is just a few weeks away, on November 29th.  It’s a day that inspires people worldwide to give as a vehicle to drive change around the causes and issues they care about.

The Prince William County Community Foundation is thrilled to join thousands of agencies across the globe participating in the largest giving day of the year.

We’re committed to improving the quality of life for residents of the Prince William County region. We make grants to support local nonprofits whose strategies and outcomes align with our four focus areas: poverty alleviation, education, community health & wellness, and creating pathways for 21st-century careers.

Last year, through the generosity of supporters like you, we raised nearly $90,000 to support 14 nonprofits serving Prince William County. This year, we’ve set a goal to raise $100,000, which will enable us to help more local agencies meet the needs of our fellow Prince William County citizens. But we can’t achieve this ambitious goal without the support of caring friends like you.

When you give to the Prince William County Community Foundation, you’re funding vital programs and services that give our fellow citizens a hand up when they need it most.

Please make a gift to help further the work. Any gift you make between now and GivingTuesday will can be matched through the generosity of an anonymous donor to double your impact.

Will you stand with us?
