Forest Park HS to host Multicultural Night

Last Monday, several students throughout the area let their voices be heard as they led a Youth Empowerment Town Hall in Dumfries. During the town hall, Forest Park High School SCA Vice President Chance Williams announced that the school will host a Multicultural Night this Friday from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

Similar to the town hall, it will be student-led and organized. The purpose of the event is to showcase the diversity within the nation’s tenth largest minority-majority county. The vision, according to Williams, will be to provide a window of inclusion, while featuring a myriad of performances.
