Football Friday: What’s on tap for HBCU’s for Week 3?

by John Reid

Last night, Bethune-Cookman lost to the Miami Hurricanes 48 to 7. However, there’s plenty of action for HBCU football on tap this weekend, particularly with the Battle for the Real HU as the Hampton Pirates hosts the Howard Bison in the Truth and Service Classic. Both come into this game sporting 1-1 records, with Howard playing its first FCS opponent. The game will be at 3:30pm on ESPN+, with a tape delay on ESPNU at 11 p.m.

In another game to feature an HBCU versus a national power, North Carolina Central travels to 24th ranked UCLA at 5pm on the PAC 12 Network. Below are the remaining games on the schedule:

  • Norfolk State at Temple 2pm
  • Florida Memorial at Grambling State 2pm
