D.J. Jordan Considering Another Run for House of Delegates

Darrell “D.J.” Jordan, a community leader and former Chairman of the Virginia State Board of Social Services, announced to the PW Perspective that he is considering another run for the 31st District House of Delegates. The 31st District consists of both Prince William (78.52% of voters) and Fauquier (21.48%) Counties. In 2019, D.J. unsuccessfully ran for the 31st District of the House of Delegates, but won the largest amount of votes in the District’s history for any Republican candidate for state or local office.

Should Jordan decide to run, he’ll be looking to replace the District’s current Delegate, Elizabeth Guzman, who is running for Lieutenant Governor in 2021. Based on potential redistricting within the district, there is a chance that it could flip towards the Republicans.

The PW Perspective will have more news on this story as it develops.
