Banquet for the Bill Mehr Drop-in Center for the Homeless

The Cooperative Council of Ministries (CCoM) is a coalition of churches of the Greater Prince William Area that serves and advocates for people experiencing homelessness, and poverty.


The Cooperative Council of Ministries is hosting the 7th Annual Bill Mehr Drop-In Center Banquet on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church 12351 All Saints Place, Woodbridge, VA 22192. The banquet starts at 6:30 PM and will include a full course gourmet meal and remarks from keynote speaker Reverend Warren Anthony of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Prince William County Board of Supervisor Occoquan District Supervisor Kenny Boddye. The Honorable Marty Nohe will serve as the banquet Master of Ceremonies.

Proceeds from the banquet will benefit the Bill Mehr Drop-in Center for the Homeless. The Center provides essential services to residents experiencing homelessness in Prince William County, including nutrition and wellness programs, social skills and job readiness programs, medical services. These programs empower individuals with marketable skills that will increase their earning potential and avoid continued homelessness.
