As A Woman: Inner Peace

This week’s As A Woman takes a look at how we can reduce stress and find a wave of inner peace. April is National Stress Awareness Month, which means all month we are bringing awareness of how to reduce stress. Many women may appear to be stress-free when you look at their accomplishments, but are walking around feeling overwhelmed and anxious on the inside.

To create a stress-free life, it’s important to take care of yourself mentally and physically. Eat properly, exercise, and be true to yourself. Be assertive and take control of your life. Avoid chasing after those things that society has determined to be important but result in emptiness. Inner peace is a choice, and many of your habits determine how much peace you experience in your daily life.

Here are a few additional things that you can do to help ensure you are choosing inner peace!

· Focus your attention on those things you can control

· Spend time in nature

· Do Good Deeds

· Avoid trying to change others

All the accomplishments in the world can’t replace inner peace. Decide for yourself and live the life you deserve!
