Prince William County to Host Pride Proclamation Rally on June 16

Prince William County, VA continues to be an active player in the fight for social justice, and Pride Month is no different. The month of June celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and also focuses on advocating for rights and protections. The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will be voting on a Pride Proclamation declaring June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month at their June 16th meeting.

In response, PFLAG – Prince William County, The Casa BruMar Foundation and Equality Prince William are excited to host their Pride Proclamation Rally on Tuesday June 16th. The rally will take place from 1 PM – 6 PM at Sean T. Connaughton Community Plaza located at 1 County Complex Ct in Woodbridge, VA (between the McCoart Building and the Development Services Building).

Confirmed speakers include Delegates Elizabeth Guzman and Danica Roem. More will be announced soon.

Masks are required to attend, but free masks will be provided to those who cannot afford one. In addition, they will be accepting mask donations. Donations can also be sent to:
