Building the Black Educator Pipeline

Even before the pandemic, there has always been a dearth in regards to the hiring of Black educators in the classroom. Despite the best efforts of programs offered by the Virginia Department of Education, there is still a challenge with the training and preparation for a more diverse field. Earlier today the Center for Black Educator Development and Citizen Ed hosted a discussion on building the Black educator pipeline for those interested in teaching.
