NCBW-PWCC to Host Small Business Bounce Back: Defining Your New Normal

Workshop geared towards helping small businesses survive and thrive

Woodbridge, Va — The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Prince William County Chapter, Inc. (NCBW-PWCC), announced that its fourth financial literacy workshop will focus on helping small businesses owners learn new strategies to grow and protect their businesses amid the global pandemic.

The previous workshops included financial literacy teaching, and addressing the poverty gap for Black women

Small Business Bounce Back: Defining your New Normal is designed for participants who want to continue to build their operations and support employees while creating a pathway for success.

Participants can expect to learn: 

  • Tips on managing a business through a pandemic;
  • Strategies for managing and motivating employees after a pandemic; and
  • Financial survival and resources to help chart a path forward. 

“This has been an exceptionally challenging time for small businesses. The global pandemic has forced many small businesses to rethink their strategies, and to determine how to best survive during this global pandemic,” said Sheila D. Coleman, President of NCBW-PWCC. “NCBW-PWCC is recognizes the important role that small businesses play in our community so we want to do all that we can to ensure that they thrive”

This collaborative partnership has been made possible thanks to the National Coalition of 100 Black Woman, Inc., the Sister-Nomic$ Committee, Wells Fargo, Truist, and the Prince William County Economic Empowerment Committee.
