In response to the recent federal workforce reductions, Prince William County has launched a comprehensive online resource page to assist those affected. The page provides information on employment opportunities, career support, workforce training, housing and financial counseling, food security and mental health services. 

Prince William County is home to more than 30,500 federal workers, as well as numerous businesses that support the federal government. With the ongoing changes at the federal level, the county remains committed to supporting its residents by providing easy access to essential resources. 

“Prince William County stands with our residents during this challenging time. We are committed to providing the resources and support they need to navigate during this transition,” said County Executive Chris Shorter. “This resource hub is designed to help our community members have access to tools and services that can support them every step of the way.” 

“I would like to thank Neabsco District Supervisor Victor Angry for his suggestion to create a page to support federal workers, and the Board’s leadership in ensuring that our community is aware of all the resources that are available to them in the county,” Shorter said. 

The new online hub offers a variety of support services, including:

• Counseling and Mental Health Resources

• Food Assistance 
• Financial Counseling and Assistance
