Conversations in the Community announces upcoming events

Happy Fall!  I hope that your fall season is off to a great start.  Conversations in the Community is excited to share our upcoming events with you.  Please refer to the attached flyers for details and registration. Please share with other community members.

Tween & Teen Conversations About Caste:  Conversations in the Community will come to your location to host these important discussions using Isabel Wilkerson’s book, “Caste:  The Origins of Our Discontents” YA.  Let us know when, where and how many tweens and teens.  These conversations are great for youth groups, civic groups, girl/boy scouts, homeschool groups, mentoring organizations and youth retreats. 

Family Literacy Workshop:  Join Conversations in the Community and Reach Scholars Tutoring LLC on Saturday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bull Run Regional Library (Manassas) for a FREE family literacy workshop.  A complimentary lunch is included and registration is required.  

Community Conversation @ The Culture Cup:  Join Conversations in the Community  at The Culture Cup on Thursday, November 21st at 6:30 p.m. for “Advocating for Educational Equity for Our Children.”  This conversation is for parents, guardians and educators.  Registration is required.
