Today, the Virginia Asian American and Pacific Islander Caucus (VAAPIC) Fund announced a six-figure investment in digital, print media, and organizing outreach to engage and mobilize AAPI voters in support of Democrats ahead of Virginia’s General Assembly elections this November. 

The campaign will include digital ads in multiple languages targeting AAPI voters in key House of Delegates and State Senate districts, in-language print ads organized by members of VAAPIC Fund, and field efforts in partnership with Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia (DAAV) and other partner organizations.

“Virginia Democrats are fighting every day for Asian American and Pacific Islander families and communities, making health care more affordable, keeping our neighborhoods safe from gun violence, supporting small businesses, and defending our reproductive rights,” said Virginia AAPI Caucus Chair, Delegate Kathy Tran. “AAPI Virginians are the fastest growing racial or ethnic minority group in the Commonwealth and can make the difference in close races. The VAAPIC Fund is proud of these groundbreaking investments to engage with AAPI voters across Virginia and ensure we make our voices heard by voting early or on November 7th.”
