Jefferson issued the following statement:
“As a former union member, it means a lot to me to have earned the support of our labor community. My dad was a proud union airline mechanic – a job which gave our family a pathway to the middle class. Elected officials need to recognize that there is dignity in work, and that every worker deserves fair pay and good working conditions. That’s why I am committed to working with our unions to ensure that workers have a voice.”
