Supervisor Margaret Angela Franklin Celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month Hosting a Bilingual Latino Roundtable

WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Supervisor Margaret Angela Franklin celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month
hosting a bilingual Latino Roundtable at Fred Lynn Middle School on September 14th.

She was joined by Maria Burgos, Executive Director of Prince William Office of Equity & Inclusion and
representatives from several local organizations including Edu-Futuro, Virginia Coalition of Latino
Organizations, and the Legal Aid Justice Center.

Supervisor Franklin welcomed the families gathered for the event and renewed her commitment to
ensuring that the Hispanic and Latino communities have the necessary resources. According to
Franklin, “It is vitally important that the voices and concerns of the Hispanic and Latino
communities are represented and accorded priority.”
