3rd Annual Coffee & Tea Chat

On Monday, March 20th, 6 women came together to celebrate the My Natural Me, 3rd Annual Coffee & Tea chat! What started during the pandemic as a virtual way to celebrate women’s history has now developed into an annual celebration. The women selected for this year’s discussion included women from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, but one thing they shared was their inspirational stories of embracing change!

The panel included the following ladies.

Queenie, PW Perspective Community Writer, Podcaster
Eve, Coach, Motivational Speaker
Dr. V_DNP
Kelly /Artist
Joyce, Author, TV Host
Leeta/ PW Perspective Assistant Editor, Author, Speaker

The best way to describe the event is to share what Eve Mapanda stated about her response to the question, “Who inspires you?”

“I loved when Liletta Harlem asked ‘who inspires me’ and with this question, I get it all the time and I used to say names of women like Oprah Winfrey Lisa Nichols , my mother and so many more but it occurred to me one day that I needed to be my best inspiration.
As women, we love to constantly praise and celebrate other people, but we often forget the most important person…. yourself. If you notice that you don’t celebrate yourself enough, I challenge you to start looking in the mirror every morning and being proud of who you are.
Start learning how to be your own inspiration and believe that you are more than enough. You are amazing just the way you are.”
